Google adhered to the strict separation of the flagship smartphones: the usual pixel only received main and ultra-shaped modules and pro version-periscopic telephoto lens.
However, in 2024, the company softened the boundaries by introducing the compact Pixel 9 Pro with the same camera as Pro XL. Now, Google has decided to review the strategy.
The images show that the glass panel of the camera module on the Pixel 10 has become wider – now overlapping with the Pixel 10 Pro. This confirms that Google adds a new sensor.
However, the exact features are unknown and the narrow shape of the lens is doubtful: as before, an error is possible in the interpretation of leaks.
