At the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung unveiled its new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4, fourth generation of the popular folding clamshell form factor. The design has remained virtually unchanged from its predecessor, but there are some notable new features.

The heart of the new folder is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, the current reference SoC of the high-end Android market. You just couldn’t wish for better. The device is sold in a single amount of RAM, which is 8 GB. On the other hand, there are three different storage sizes available: 128, 256 and 512 GB.

The main screen is a 6.7 inch AMOLED 2X with FHD+ resolution and maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. Of course, there’s also a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED mini display. Overall, the device measures 71.9 x 165.2 x 6.9mm, which drops to 71.9 x 84.9 x 17.1mm when the screen is closed. Weight? Only 187 grams.

Samsung has made huge strides with the Galaxy Z Flip4 battery, which is now one 3,700mAh dual battery with 25W charging and 15W wireless charging.

The photographic sector rounds out this card, with a 12MP main sensor (Dual Pixel AF, OIS and f/1.8 aperture) flanked by a 12MP wide-angle lens (aperture from f/2.2). The selfie cam on the front has a 10MP (f/2.4) sensor.

Samsung has long emphasized mode FlexCam, which allows you to partially open the screen and use the lower surface as a support. The feature is supported by many third-party applications, including Facebook and Instagram.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 will also be available in Italy from August 25. It starts at €1,149 for the 8/128 GB version. Models with 8/256GB and 8/512GB cost €1,199 and €1,329 respectively.

In stores it will be possible to find the Galaxy Z Flip4 in Bora Purple, Graphite, Pink Gold and Blue colors, but online it will be possible to customize the device to the maximum thanks to the program Custom editionwhich allows you to choose from 75 different combinations of different colours.
