Scientists claimed that for every three trees they disappear into Amazon, the fourth dies even without the cause of deforestation. Scholars have attempted to explain the difficult processes affecting the Earth’s most important and precious forests. The main cause is the large Drought that we are experiencing and that has hit the Amazon even more seriously. It changes the humidity, moreover, the wild felled parts cannot generate rain and thus contribute to increasing drought.

However, the discovery states that if the rains do not occur in a particular area for long periods, the damage extends beyond that area. A reduction in water from precipitation in that area and that also reduces that of the whole system. Here is the strong relationship that exists between deforestation and drought. Less water in the system then leads to the forest drying up and disappearing. The felling of trees on one hectare of land is equivalent to the destruction of 1.3 hectares.

Experts explain that deforestation will lead to periods of drought that will become a habit as early as 2050. This could lead to the complete disappearance of the forest. For the time being, a large part of the Amazon is stable. The solutions would be: stop felling trees and reduce greenhouse gas emissions quickly so as not to exacerbate global warming.
