There are many scooter championships around the world, but almost all of them use conventional or modified street scooters. Scotr Championship uses electric racing scooters S1-X specially designed for competition. They accelerate to 100 km/h.
The first eSkootr championship competition called eSC Racing Series, currently taking place in several European capitals, with the participation of several Spanish pilots. You can see the best moments of the last race in the introductory video of the news.
Holding motorcycle or Formula 1 races within the city is almost impossible (with the exception of Monaco) due to the huge noise and pollution they generate.
The advantage of electric racing scooters is that they are quiet and do not pollutetherefore, the track can be organized right in the city center.

30 pilots they were selected after a series of tests from over 200 candidates. Among them are several Spaniards: Maria Bellot Bernabe, Mark Luna, Sara Sanchez and Javi Espinosa.
As we have already mentioned, the main characteristic eSkootr Championship is that he does not use street scooters, but SX-1 racing scooters specially designed for competition.
These scooters have two 6 kW electric motors, weigh 40 kg and reaches a speed of 100 km/h. They allow you to take turns with a slope of 55 degrees, hurrying to the maximum.
As we see in the video, races start from the top of the rampto instantly pick up speed. They are quite exciting and frenetic because the tracks are narrow, full of turns and there are embankments in the middle of the track.
Championship leads Jordan Randan American pilot who is a professional model on the catwalks of Paris, but on weekends she wears a tracksuit and wins electric scooter races.
