Over there House of Psychology is inaugurated in Udine Friday September 9, with the ribbon cutting via Pracchiuso 23, at 6 pm. The operational headquarters will be in Udine, while the institutional will be located in Trieste and will remain fully operational. Roberto Calvani, President ofRegional Order of Psychologists Fvgdefines it like this:

A meeting and thinking space for psychology and psychologists, as well as a place for representation, dissemination and promotion of psychology and the profession. For several months now, partly at the request of many colleagues, we as Regio Orde have been looking for a physical space, centrally located in relation to the regional geography, which, with time and dedication, could become a meeting place between registered psychologists and at the same time a point of contact for citizens. It is a rented room, located in the Friulian capital.

In recent years, the psychological needs of people have increased and it is precisely for this need that this space has been created. A way to direct information to the citizens on psychology related to ethics, deontology, psychological potential. All with the aim of protecting the Health of citizens. The new center aims to be a point of contact between theory and practice.

Consideration is being given to scheduling meetings that will also be open to citizenship in electronic form. A documentation tool for young people, which they have at their disposal library with specific operational tools. The Order of Psychologists will be able to meet its members and promote well-being through knowledge exchange.

At the inauguration, Roberto Calvani, President of the Order of Psychologists of Friuli Venezia Giulia, will take the honors. Also present were Pietro Fontanini, Mayor of Udine and Fabrizio Cigolot, Councilor for Culture. Finally, Monsignor Andrea Bruno Mazzocato, Archbishop of Udine with his blessing. Furthermore, the first event which will take place in the new space will be the presentation of the book “The history of Italian Psychology”. The author is Catello Parmentola, psychologist and psychotherapist ASL van Salerno, author of the Deontological Code of Psychologists (1998).
