On the occasion of the event Dare to be ultimateAsus unveiled the new ROG Phone 6D and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. Both feature the new MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ 5G chipset – CPU speeds up to 3.2GHz and up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB ROM memory.
ROG Phone 6D Ultimate features a new heat dissipation port, the AeroActive Portal, as well as some fins placed on the vapor chamber to bring cold air into the chipset. In short, a system designed to increase thermal efficiency even during extreme gaming sessions.
The display is a Samsung AMOLED HDR10+ 6.78-inch with ROG Tuning technology to yield the maximum refresh rate 165Hz. The display can be set to 60 Hz, 90 Hz, 120 Hz, 144 Hz or 165 Hz depending on how you want to use it. The device is supported by up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB of storage, “for a reliable and stable gaming experience,” Asus promises.
The triple camera system has a wide-angle main sensor Sony IMX766 from 50MP, a second 13MP ultrawide camera and a macro camera. Then we find the GameFX audio system: dual speakers to increase the balance of stereo sound effects, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack (now a rarity on top phones).
The battery from 6000 mAh guarantees an extremely robust autonomy. And when it’s time to take a break, the adapter 65W HyperCharge allows you to quickly bring the battery back to 100%.
The new ROG Phones 6D and 6D Ultimate are available exclusively in Space Gray. ROG Phone 6D features Aura RGB lighting on the back, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of ROM memory. The ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, which comes with AeroActive Cooler 6, has a ROG Vision matrix color display on the back, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB ROM storage.
Both will be available from October on ESHOP, Gold Store and Unieuro: the ROG Phone 6D for €1,029 and the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate for €1,499.
