Maserati, like many other manufacturers, continues to strive to offer electric options for the entire range of vehicles by 2025, and to completely phase out internal combustion engines by 2030. Proof of this is the new Gran Turismo Folgorethe company’s first all-electric car, unveiled in March last year, about which new details are now known.
In particular, the Italian luxury car manufacturer will launch three new versions of the Gran Turimo on the market. There are two combustion options: Modena and Trophy, with 490 and 550 hp engines. respectively, as well as the electric GranTurismo Folgore. This is without a doubt the most interesting model. Not only because it is a 100% electric car, but also because of the power it can achieve compared to other models. In fact, the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore 3 electric motors capable of delivering 1200 hp.although its battery makes a maximum output of 760 hp, it is still higher than the rest of the versions.
On the other hand, the GranTurismo Folgore is equipped with an 800 volt drive system that allows charging up to 270 kW.
