we know that google working on a third version of the Google Pixel 7, but the rumors about its characteristics are rather contradictory. According to some, it will be an even higher-end version of the phone, a kind of Google Pixel 7 Ultra. For others, however, it will have a ‘Mini’ screen – filling a segment of the market that is currently being discovered.
This last statement seems the most likely. The latest news comes from the developer Kuba Wojciechowskiwho had already signed some previous leaks on the Pixel Fold, Google’s unprecedented and anticipated first foldable smartphone.
What will the third Pixel 7 look like? According to Wojciechowski, the phone is internally nicknamed Lynx or L10. It will mount two Sony IMX712 sensors, one of which is ultra-wide. Like its siblings, the new Pixel 7 also supports wireless charging, plus it also comes with a Qualcomm WCN6740 module with Wi-Fi 6E support (the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro use a different module).
All this interests us to a certain extent. The most important detail is another. The display uses the chip S6E3FC3, the same one used on the Pixel 7, Pixel 6 and Pixel 6a. For this reason, it would be out of the question that it is a high-end phone: all Pixel ‘Pros’ use the IC S6E3HCx integrated circuit, which supports a higher resolution.
If all this were true, the third Pixel 7 would be either the much-discussed . can be Pixel 7 Mini or a mid-gen update of the ‘base’ model. It will most likely appear next spring.
