According to the head of Roskosmos, Yuri Borisov, the Russian orbital station, also known as ROS, will begin deployment in 2027, and its appearance appeared earlier by April 12 this year. By the same date, work on the feasibility study will be completed.

At the same time, 2027 is indicated as a rough guideline – the adoption of a final decision on the timing of the start of deployment, which will take place as part of the discussion of the preliminary design, which is expected to be submitted before the end of March 2024.

Interestingly, to date, Roskosmos has not yet presented a specific plan for ROS, the most detailed data on the station can only be found in one of the past issues with the name “Russian Space”. In addition, at the end of last year, Borisov announced that the project for the upcoming ROS financing is still under development.
