Apple unveiled the new 10.9-inch iPad. The entry-level model, which now features a Liquid Retina display and a slightly more powerful chipset. That wasn’t enough, the tablet now has an exciting new colorful look.
The standard iPad has been given a makeover and is tougher than ever
As anticipated by countless rumors, Apple today refreshed its range for tablets. The basic iPad has been given a makeover and is grittier than ever. The iPads tenth generation is available in four new colours: blue, pink, silver and yellow.
The display is a 10.9-inch liquid retina, while the heart of the tablet is Apple’s “old” A14 Bionic chip. The storage cuts range from the classic 64GB to 256GB and, of course, the tablet is reimagined in two versions: with Wi-Fi or with Wi-Fi + 5G.
Finally, even the ‘basic’ iPad has a USB-C port and there is also support for WiFi 6 (for a fast and reliable connection) and 5G connectivity. In short, a nice breath of fresh air compared to the now dated technical data sheet of the ninth generation.
The price is significantly higher than in the past. In Italy it starts from €589, while for the model with 5G you have to start from 789 €. It is immediately available for pre-order, you can find it in the official Apple store.
