With the latest updates for iOS, MacOS and iPadOS, the devices of the Apple are compatible with the egg accessories controllers manufactured by Nintendo. Notably, Nintendo’s original SNES and N64 controllers can be used on all Apple devices upgraded to macOS 13, iOS 16, and tvOS 16.

They can be connected to Apple devices via Bluetooth or, where possible, via cable. The novelty was discovered by developer Steve Troughton-Smith.

In the changelog of the latest updates, Apple has limited itself to writing that “many Bluetooth and USB gaming controllers have been added to the list of devices and accessories supported by the Game Controller framework of macOS 13, iOS 16 and tvOS 16 ″. However, there is no complete list of all accessories officially supported by Apple.

Thanks to services like Apple Arcade, Apple’s products are now formidable slot machines. We remind you that it has been possible for some time to use the official controllers for Xbox and Playstation on the latest generation iPhone and iPad. In addition, it is also possible to access and play games from cloud gaming services such as the Xbox Game Pass via the browser.
