Apple will present the new one MacBook Pro 14 and 16 inches with M2 chip in 2023. This is revealed by Mark Gurman in the latest issue of his PowerOn newsletter. The reporter, who is notoriously knowledgeable about the backgrounds of the Apple world, claims the new version of the two laptops won’t be out until early next year.

According to Gurman, the two new MacBook Pros could be released in March – time of year that Apple often reserves for its novelties on the laptop side (while, as is well known, autumn is reserved for phones and tablets instead).

The new MacBook Pro would therefore come out in line with the launch of MacOS Ventura 13.3 and iOS 16.3 – both scheduled between February and March. This is a statement in line with some previous statements by Ming-Chi Kuo, another authoritative voice when it comes to Apple products.

Something MacBook Pro with M2 in 2022? Now it seems almost certain. Tim Cook himself had explained on the occasion of the last quarter that Apple has completed its line-up for 2022. Basically, there’s just no room for new announcements.

As is the case with the latest iPad Pros, the new MacBook Pros will not feature a completely redesigned design. The real changes concern only the technical data sheet of the two products, both finally equipped with the new and more powerful M2.
