One of the many evolutionary steps related to the phone market certainly has to do with storage memories, which, because they perform faster and better every time, have the potential to make the devices more responsive from different points of view, and sometimes also cause assembly easier for manufacturers due to the smaller footprint.

Focused on improving their lineup, Samsung could officially announce the new memoir UFS 4.0 Universal Flash Storage), which, as confirmed, will enter the mass production phase in the third quarter of 2022. These should therefore appear on the market in not too long, probably already in the next Folds or in the S23s, which should be released exactly early next year as usual for the well-known flagships made by the giant.

As explained, the novelty is especially useful for all phones that have the 5G and they have to process a large amount of data. Thanks to the seventh generation V-NAND read aloud until turned on 4,200MB/s and write sequentially until 2,800 MB/sboth values higher than what has been seen so far, thanks in part to the best technologies, such as archiving UFS 3.1

As for the additional benefits, we are faced with greater efficiency than we have seen in the past, despite an improved speed at the same time. In terms of the capacity of the new storage systems, we are currently talking about the possibility of: range up to 1TBcertainly not a revolutionary figure, but more than adequate as far as the phone market is concerned, as even users hardly need even higher capabilities within their devices.
