This Sunday (19), heavy rains on São Paulo’s north coast left hundreds of victims homeless and deprived of basic survival gear. So far, 228 people have been displaced and 338 people have been displaced by the state government.

The federal government has accepted the request for a state of emergency and the city of São Sebastião is in a state of disaster. The Southern District of Caraguatatuba, Ubatuba and Ilhabela is also on alert. See how you can help victims of large volumes of rain on the SP beach:

São Paulo Social Fund

State Civil Defense Coordination, São Paulo Social Fund Av. Marshal Mario Guedes is at 301, Jaguaré. The most pressing items are:

  • non-perishable food;
  • mineral water;
  • clothes are clean and in good condition.

Sao Sebastião Social Fund

You will receive cash donations via PIX (CNPJ 28.086.952/0001-99) or be deposited into a Banco do Brasil account (agency 0715-3, checking account 54708-5, Fundo Social de Solidariedade). With the help of volunteers, the São Sebastião Social Fund will collect:

  • donations of clothing, bedding and bath linen, shoes;
  • non-perishable food;
  • drinking water;
  • personal hygiene products, geriatric and diapers;
  • cleaning products;
  • appliances, beds, mattresses;
  • pet food donation

Collection points are at: Rua Capitão Luiz Soares, 33, and in the municipal offices of the Public Services Department. Felipe Augusto (PSDB), the mayor of São Sebastião (SP), posted more on his Instagram profile.

Caraguatatuba Social Fund

The Caraguatatuba Social Fund collection address is Avenida José Herculano, 50, Jardim Britânia, where the Municipal Sports Center is located. To be accepted:

  • cleaning materials;
  • hygiene items such as soap, paste and toothbrushes;
  • drinking water;
  • men’s, women’s, children’s and bed and bath clothing.
  • cleaning supplies – most needed 60 liter garbage bag, detergent, 70% alcohol, disinfectant, chlorine, washing powder, sponge, broom, squeegee, floor cloth and 10 liter bucket.

Social Fund of Sao Jose dos Campos

materials to be donated, Delivery to the Distribution Center or scheduling via WhatsApp (12) 99633-6786. The donation list includes:

  • mattresses;
  • beds;
  • sofas;
  • and household appliances.

Municipality of İlhabela

The collection point is at the Social Fund headquarters at Rua Guaiamu, 56, Perekquê. Phone (11) 99932-7150 is the point of contact for more information about donations in need, for example:

  • mattresses;
  • duvets;
  • stove;
  • cleaning supplies and personal hygiene.

Green School Institute

The Verdescola Institute, which hosts rain victims, receives donations through PIX (verdescola@verdescola.org.br).

If you choose to deliver donations, The organization has the following collection addresses: Avenida Marginal, 44, Barra do Sahy; Avenida Deble Luísa Derani, 960, Praia da Baleia; and Avenida Adelino Tavares, 170, Barra do Sahy.

The most pressing items are:

  • toothbrush and toothpaste;
  • soap;
  • drinking water;
  • and blanket.

Falcões and creation of the “Tamojunto” campaign

The “Tamojunto” campaign, organized by the NGO Gerando Falcões, was created as a donation channel through PIX (CNPJ 18.463.148/0001-28). For every R$1 donated, the NGO will add another R$1 to the total donation with a limit of R$1 million.
