New information about the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 have been leaked online, and this isn’t good news, as Qualcomm’s new mid-range device would apparently be rather underpowered, thus targeting the mid-low end of the market.

The well-known leaker Digital Chat Station spoke about the technical specifications of the devices in question, which should offer 4 cores inside Cortex-A710 with clock frequency of 2361 MHz and four Cortex A-510 with a frequency of 1804 MHz, together with the video card Adreno 662

New benchmarks on the AnTuTu have come forward and anticipate that the device in question was barely able to overcome what was seen with the Snapdragon 778G, with 170 points against 160, which would therefore lead to the device in question being beaten by Dimension 8000 by MediaTek.

At the moment, in any case, the devices have not yet been released and announced by the company, and when they come on the market, the situation may be different from what was previously expected. All that’s left is to wait some time for the company’s announcement, which is said to have recently delayed the 8 Gen 1+, as detailed here.
