An Italian created a 1: 1 copy, photo-realistic, from a Japanese train station. The result was possible thanks to the graphics engine Unreal engine You can see the video of the project at the bottom of this news. It left us speechless.

There station is that of Etchū-Daimon, in Toyama . Prefecture It is a demo similar in concept to that of the project The Matrix Awakens. You can freely explore the reproduction of the station and observe how every detail has been digitally replicated to perfection. Talking about photorealism is not wrong in this case. Particularly commendable work has been done in the management of the lights.

The author of the project is Lorenzo Drago, an Italian 3D artist. The work took about a month, between creating the models and getting the data. Strangely enough, Drago never visited Etchū-Daimon station.

The video went viral and did not go unnoticed, even by Epic, who, in order to showcase the infinite possibilities of its graphics engine, chose to re-share it on its official social accounts.

Unreal Engine 5 had already blown the world away with The matrix awakens, an interactive demo that recreates a city of no less than 16 kilometers and… alive, thanks to the 35,000 passers-by and more than 45,000 vehicles. Unreal Engine 5, in its final version, has been available since last month.
