The RTX 3080 Noctua Edition has two 8-pin power connectors. The card has three displayport 1.4 connections in addition to two HDMI 2.1 ports. The PCB design suggests the same design as the RTX 3080 TUF, which is already considered a quiet board. The Noctua Edition may therefore be the quietest version on the market.
Asus has yet to release further details. The card has not yet appeared in the Hardware Information product comparator. The price of the card is expected to start from 1,150 Euros. That’s 250 euros more than the RTX 3070 Noctua Edition.
Update 17-05-2022, 07:49 –
Asus RTX 3080 Noctua Edition has been officially announced. There is no suggested retail price yet, although manufacturers have stated that this sku should be available in early June. Thanks to a larger heatsink and two NF-A12x25 fans, this model will be considerably quieter than the TUF version while also cooling better. Since the renewed heatsink is in direct contact with the video memory, the temperatures of these components should be considerably lower than the other Asus card.
According to Noctua, the temperature difference is greatest at low fan speeds.
