Elon Musk, owner of X (formerly Twitter) announced that it plans to remove headlines from its network that allow direct links to content from other media, which will mean a major change in news and content traffic.
In a “post” published last night, Musk said that he instructed the article to “remove the title/text to show only one image of the links.”and although their intentions appear to be of a commercial nature, reference has been made to “aesthetic” reasons.
Currently it hasn’t started implementation yet because this Tuesday morning (US time) the connections worked in a traditional way.
Although it remains to be seen how exactly the measure will be implemented (whether it will be equivalent to a “)screenshot” otherwise there is another modality), the first result is that the median they will no longer receive direct traffic as they appear on X.
