In recent weeks Android users (as well as iOS) have been able to notice some updates in WhatsApp. Some of them brought useful tools and now it seems that the developers are looking for ways to improve the interface of the famous messaging application.

It is worth remembering that a few days ago, it was learned that the instant messaging application will undergo a radical change on iOS devices. Within the scope of this change, it is seen that WhatsApp got rid of the blue color and left its place to the characteristic green color of the application.

It seems that the changes will not only reach iOS users, Android users will also encounter a new design.

The characteristic color of WhatsApp since its birth in 2009 has been green, although the hues have changed, it has always been green without radical changes. But Meta will put less emphasis on green.

(

As they learned on the ‘WABetainfo’ expert portal, The WhatsApp interface on Android will now be more white than green. Although there is no major change in the structure, the new design is based on replacing the entire top green bar with an entirely white bar.

In this sense, the only green thing the company will keep will be the logo that appears in the upper left corner, contrasting with the bar that has changed from white to green and will now be white.

Besides saying goodbye to the green color, WhatsApp would also move some buttons. In other words, while the area where you will see your profile photo is located in the upper right corner, the status, call and community buttons will now appear at the bottom.

Finally, the app will allow users to filter their chats so they can see unread conversations, personal chats, and business chats separately.

Of course, the portal confirms that the new design is only in beta, so it will take a few weeks for the changes to the devices interface to become visible.
