Samsung has indirectly announced that it is working on a smart ring through the Galaxy Wearable application. The device, called Galaxy Ring, is planned to be released in 2024.

This discovery is not entirely unexpected. The company hinted at the existence of this product when it registered two devices with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) last March. One of them, the smart ring, was referred to as ‘Galaxy Ring’ in the documents.

It was also learned in July that Samsung was collaborating with the Japanese company Meiko, which specializes in components, to develop this device.

The code also revealed that Samsung has developed a dedicated app for the Galaxy Ring. This app will allow smart ring owners to personalize their devices and access certain features.

According to patent information, the primary function of the Galaxy Ring is to act as a health and wellness tracking device. You will be equipped to record and analyze information regarding health, physical activity and sleep patterns. This data is then sent directly to the ‘user’s smartphone’, enabling seamless integration and providing valuable information about the user’s health.

Samsung entered the international video game expo Gamescom 2023 with a shocking announcement: the introduction of its newest Odyssey series monitors.

The two standout models are the 55-inch Odyssey Ark and the 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9. The latter stands out as the world’s “first gaming monitor” with dual ultra-high definition (UHD).

Billed as the “world’s first dual UHD gaming monitor,” the 57-inch Odyssey G9 delivers a visual experience that enhances gamers’ performance and increases their competitive advantage.

Its 1000R curved screen is as immersive as 32-inch UHD monitors; Quantum Matrix and Quantum Mini LED technology enhance illumination, providing sharp contrast and enhanced imaging.

Additionally, Samsung also introduced the 55-inch Odyssey Ark, which offers a 165 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time.

Offering new features such as Cockpit Mode and Samsung Multi View, which allows users to view four inputs on the screen simultaneously, this monitor stands out with its focus on connection, comfort and performance.
