Dodo Pizza founder Fyodor Ovchinnikov became an investor in the food technology startup “Cook in touch”. This is what the founder of the “Cooking in Contact” project, Vladislav Dzhurovich, told RB.RU. Ovchinnikov himself spoke about the deal on his Telegram channel, which became his second personal investment.
Djurovich did not disclose the amount of the investment, but clarified that Ovchinnikov’s stake in the company was less than 10%. The businessman also said that he had previously attracted three private investors to the project, valuing the company at 100 million rubles.
“I invested in “Cook in touch”, a food technology service to order and deliver dishes to pastry chefs and chefs at home. The creator of the platform is Vladislav Djurovic. <…> A born entrepreneur, he started his first business at age 18 and built the Tesla Burger chain from scratch. <…>. I will help the startup as an investor and mentor as best I can,” Ovchinnikov said.
“Cook in touch” is positioned as a food market where you can order dishes “from private chefs, signature desserts from pastry chefs and natural products from farmers.”
“We will use the funds raised for various service improvements. We are now expanding our development team and will direct subsequent investments within the current round to ensure speed of development, marketing and expansion to other regions,” said Djurovic.
The legal entity “Chefs in Contact” appeared in 2013, the LLC of the same name was registered in Tyumen. At the same time, the market itself was launched two years ago with Djurovic’s own money.
According to the Kontur.Focus system as of January 2023, 97% of the company belongs to the founder Vladislav Dzhurovich, 2% belongs to the co-owner of the Siberian Mining Company Vladimir Rylkov, 1% belongs to an individual entrepreneur from Barnaul Anton Verchenko.
