A large number of citizens reported that there was an explosion in Bogotá, in the Puente Aranda area, in Bogotá, precisely in the Pennsylvania neighborhood, at Avenida Calle 6 and Carrera 32 A. Authorities have arrived at the scene and there are injuries. Early versions suggest it was a tamale factory.

HE Bogota Fire Department spoke to this newspaper and confirmed the emergency. There are already three machines on the scene. Everything points to a boiler exploding in a Tamale factory. It is currently known that 8 people were injured.
A large number of ambulances arrived at the scene, and their specialized personnel are involved in transporting seriously ill patients to nearby clinics and hospitals. The Mayor’s Office reported that a person from the District Institute for Risk Management and Climate Change (IDIGER) arrived at the scene.
Firefighters and the Hazardous Materials Team from Puente Aranda and Central stations are providing pre-hospital care to eight injured people. The Fire Investigation Group was activated to determine the cause of the fire.
The injured were transferred to Olaya polyclinic, Médery clinic, San José hospital, Simón Bolívar hospital, Santa Juliana clinic and Santa Fe foundation. Many had third-degree burns.
