The Congress of the New Republic has not yet completed its one-month mandate and has already created excitement on different issues of interest to the citizens. In their sessions, important projects such as the reform package prepared by the government of President Gustavo Petro will be discussed.
Another initiative that needs to move forward will be lowering the salaries of congressmen. Senator Jonathan Ferney Pulido Hernández, who calls himself Jota Pe Hernández, presented a project to eliminate the service premium and set the current 25 minimum wage cap.
