The number one position went to TikTok, the vertical video social network, which topped the list in the latest metrics and reached 317 million downloads in the first half of the year.
2.Instagram
In second place is the social network ‘Meta’, a mobile application for posting photos, videos and stories. This recorded 280 million downloads from new users.

In third place is WhatsApp, which currently positions itself as the most popular messaging app. According to ‘Apptopia’ it has been downloaded around 220 million times worldwide.
4.Snapchat
Behind the mobile messaging tool, Snapchat is in fourth place with 174 million downloads across devices.
5. Capcut
Finally, there is Capcut, a tool for editing videos in different formats, which recorded 169 million downloads between January and June 2022. This app was ranked fifth.
