It’s actually a pretty minor detail; however, the curiosity it created has been great.

According to private media, if you can see the green dot next to the chat and to clarify, it refers to a completely empty circle, not the circle with the message count, this means you marked the chat as unread.

The function is activated with the following steps: Select a chat and press the three-dot button at the top. There you will see several options, including ‘Mark as unread’.

You will be able to use this tool to remember pending conversations.
