It even became an important platform or showcase for artists who opened the doors of virality by keeping their record catalogs there.

Whether you want to lip-sync, sing along to your video, or use an audio, all you have to do is search the library for a sound like this:
Tap the + icon in the bottom bar of your screen, then tap ‘add audio’ (located at the top of the screen on the Record Video page). So you can browse the TikTok audio library, choose the sound you want and start recording with it.
This is a great option if you have edited the video outside of the platform. To add a sound, you must follow these steps:
When you open TikTok, tap the + icon on the bottom bar of your screen, select the video you want to upload and click ‘add audio’, which is the icon that appears at the top of the screen after making it ready.
So if your original video has audio, you can remove it from the same menu by pressing ‘Volume’. At this point, you’ll find two bars that control the original and added audio.

If you’re looking to join an existing trend, it’s as simple as choosing the audio directly from the post that caught your eye and building from there.
Make sure to adjust the length of your video so that the audio is not clipped. TikTok offers three options: 3 minutes, 60 seconds, and 15 seconds.
