With the premiere AhsokaMany Star Wars animation characters transition into live action. The main character has already done it The Mandalorianbut others like Hera Syndulla or Sabine Wren. It was the latter that monopolized all the centers of attention. His role in the first two episodes was quite remarkable. But, in addition, some things about her that were still unknown became known.
At the beginning of the series, it becomes clear that some time after the disappearance of Ezra Bridger and Grand Admiral Thrawn on Star Wars Rebels and prior to the current series, Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren had a very peculiar relationship. The main character of the series is Mandalorian Jedi Masterwho turned out to be a Padawan. And, although both ended up leaving the training because they did not understand each other well, this is extremely amazing.
Sabina Wren was a member of the Specters, the protagonist of the rebel cell. Star Wars Rebels. In the four seasons of the animated series, there has never been any indication that the young woman might be Force-sensitive. If Ahsoka Tano later wanted to train her, it could be for two reasons. Maybe Sabina was destined to become Jedi without the ability to wield the Forceas long as it’s something out of the ordinary. Or perhaps Master Kanan Jarrus was unable to figure out who Ahsoka was, and Sabina Wren is indeed Force-sensitive.at least a little.
Although Kanan never noticed it, despite living with her for several years, it may have been Ezra himself. Sabina’s great friend Wren has never openly said that he knows about the Mandalorian’s alleged Force abilities.
But, at the end rebelsbefore disappearing tells her that he trusts her. Ezra does not elaborate on why, and Sabina assumed that he intended to find him and bring him home. But it could also be that he trusted her to discover her power and unleash her full potential.
Does Sabina Wren have powers? Ahsoka?
Despite the fact that the first two episodes of the series have already aired, Ahsoka I haven’t solved the riddle yet. Either of the two previously mentioned alternatives regarding Sabina could be true. The only thing known for certain is that, again, become a padawan again looking forward to becoming a Jedi after resuming training with character Rosario Dawson.
But there is a conversation in the second episode that might provide a clue. Sabine Wren is in the hospital, recovering from her injury, and strikes up a conversation with the droid Huyan about why Ahsoka Tano didn’t want to go back to her. “I never had talent or skills. I’m not Ezra,” she says sadly. “This is true. Over the centuries, I have met many Padawans and I can argue that his command of the Force is inferior to them all.“, the droid replies. This phrase implies that Ren can use the Force to some extent, however limited it may be.
Actually, while this is something new to the character’s plot, it’s not all that weird. The definition of the Force in Star Wars is an energy field that communicate with all living beings, not only with those who are sensitive to it. Sabina may have succeeded in awakening this connection. Question to be resolved in the third episode AhsokaPremiering on Wednesday, August 30th on Disney+.
