After the teaser trailer was released yesterday, the live-action movie poster is available online at Pinocchiocreated by the House of Mickey Mouse, which will be distributed on the streaming platform Disney + on Sept 8.

The film stars Tom Hanks, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Cynthia Erivo, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Keegan-Michael Key, Lorraine Bracco and Luke Evans. In addition to Pinocchio, Disney+ will be announcing new Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star titles for Disney+ Day in the coming months.
Directed by Academy Award winner Robert Zemeckis, Pinocchio revives in live action the beloved story of a wooden doll who embarks on an exciting adventure to become a real child. Tom Hanks plays Geppetto, the woodcarver who builds and cares for Pinocchio (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) as if he were his own son. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the Jiminy Cricket, both Pinocchio’s guide and his “conscience”; Academy Award nominee Cynthia Erivo is the Blue Fairy; Keegan-Michael Key is the Fox; Academy Award nominee Lorraine Bracco is Sofia the Seagull, a new character; and Luke Evans is the Postillion. The cast also includes Kyanne Lamaya in the role of Fabiana (and her puppet Sabina), Giuseppe Battiston in Mangiafuoco and Lewin Lloyd in Candlewick.
The film is produced by Robert Zemeckis, Derek Hogue, Andrew Miano, Chris Weitz and Paul Weitz, while Jackie Levine, Jack Rapke, Alexandra Derbyshire and Jeremy Johns are executive producers.
