DC Comics announced that the popular artist Bruce Campbell is working on a comedy miniseries titled DC Horror Presents: Sgt. Rock vs The Army of the Dead It is a strip in which Eduardo Risso is committed to the drawings.

The story is set in 1944, during World War II. In Berlin we find Adolf Hitler who together with a group of diabolical scientists created an army of undead, much stronger than they were in life. In all of this, Sergeant Rock will have to join forces with the Easy Company in the fight against the Nazi Zombie Battalion.
The miniseries aims to update the story of Sergeant Rock’s character, created in the 1950s by Robert Kanigher and Joe Kubert, who first appeared in 1959 in Our Army at War #83. The first issue of DC Horror Presents: Sgt. rock vs. The Army of the Dead will be released in the United States on September 27.
The main cover of the first issue is by Gary Frank (Supergirl), while the variant is by Frank Vrijly (The Authority). The other variants were created by Francesco Francavilla (Batman: Black Mirror), Charlie Adlard (The Walking Dead), Chris Mooneyham (Joker Presents: A Puzzlebox), and Pia Guerra (Y: The Last Man).
