AMC Networks is launching AMC+, a new subscription-on-demand service that offers a comprehensive catalog of new original series and critically acclaimed content.
Spain is the first country in the European Union to offer this service. and some of them come very interesting and full of news that few of us could expect.
The launch is accompanied by the premiere of AMC+ original series like The Walking Dead: Origins, Kin or 61st Street. They’re also rounding off their repertoire with the premiere of the vampire thriller Firebite Too Close and the hit stop-motion comedy Ultra City Smiths.
AMC+ also features Finnish comedy Mister8, which won Best Series and Best Actor at Canneseries 2021; Premiere of the Danish drama Trom or French In Therapy, The first series directed by the directors of Untouchable.
They also announced some upcoming series and premieres in the coming months, including Tales of the Walking Dead. Anne Rice: Interview with the VampireThe Walking Dead Universe, Isle of the Dead or Mayfair Witches, all AMC+ originals.
Among the other original series that we can start in July, there is the western series. black windsis led by George RR Martin (Game of Thrones) and Robert Redford (Ordinary People), who announced his retirement as an actor a few years ago. Service now available as a channel on Orange TV, Vodafone TV, Jazztel TV and Prime Video and will expand its distribution in the coming months, according to AMC Southern Europe.
