Lightyear: The Real Story of Buzz has been transformed into a PS1 game from content creator Hoolopee: the author took one of the trailer from the Disney Pixar animated film, reinterpreted in a retro key. The end result, which you can admire in the video below, is really beautiful.
The trailer for Lightyear is actually shown as if it were a game coming out of the original play station with a graphical representation of the settings and characters reminiscent of the era of the first Sony console.
The video also ends a sort of commercial in which Rex is entranced at the sight of the game between the shelves of In the toy barn, the famous toy store already featured in the Toy Story universe. Clear reference to a scene from Toy Story 2 where the dinosaur struggled with a special video game Buzz Lightyear.
