Nickelodeon released the teaser trailer for Are you afraid of the dark?: Ghost Island, the revival TV series of Are You Afraid of the Dark?, a cult children’s horror show from the 1990s. Ghost Island represents the third season of the miniseries and will air in the United States starting July 30.

The footage is only twenty seconds long and therefore offers no real picture of what fans will be able to see in the miniseries. The first two episodes are titled The Tale of Room 13 / The Tale of the Teen Spirit.
In the middle of the story there will be four friends who will lock themselves in the room of an island resort, which will give them real fear. The main characters will have to confront the ghosts of the place.
The cast of the series stars as members of the Midnight Society: Kayla played by Telci Huynh (Modern Love, Drama Club); Max, a character played by Conor Sherry (The Terminal List, The Devil You Know); Leo, whose role is dressed as Luca Padovan (You, School of Rock the Musical on Broadway); Summer, who becomes Dior Goodjohn (head of class); and Ferris, played by Chance Hurstfield (A Million Little Things, Good Boys). Finally, Julian Curtis (Wish Man) plays the role of Stanley Crane, the manager of the hotel on the island.
