Venom: The Last DanceThe third film in the saga starring Tom Hardy has its first trailer. Marvel and Sony Pictures have released the official trailer for the feature film, the main character of which will be the symbiote. A production that will strive to raise the bar from what was seen in the first two films, which were beaten by audiences and critics.
“Eddie, my people found us”Venom says to Eddie Brock in the film’s trailer. Venom: The Last Dance. In the film, the main characters will not only have to escape the persecution that the US Army unleashed against them, but also face an alien invasion that puts the Earth in danger.
Judging by the images, Venom: The Last Dance will have a slightly more emotional component compared to previous feature films. However, That doesn’t mean there isn’t humor here.. This becomes apparent in the first part of the trailer, which features Venom and Eddie facing off against a group of thugs. “Tasty. You always take me to the best places,” the symbiote tells Tom Hardy’s character, decapitating him with one bite.
Venom: The Last Dance arrives in October
It was expected that Venom: The Last Dance took a new step in integrating the saga into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it’s unclear whether the film will delve deeper into this topic. While bridges have been built between the Sony and Marvel Studios franchises, all indications are that this film will focus on completing the story arc starring Tom Hardy.
It’s worth remembering that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man appeared in the film’s post-credits scene. Venom: There will be carnage. While Hardy’s Eddie Brock did the same in Spider-Man: No Way Home, although Doctor Strange’s spell ultimately returned him to his own universe. Nevertheless, a fragment of the symbiote remains in the MCU world.
There are two elements that cast doubt on the connection between Venom: The Last Dance and Marvel Studios productions. The first is inclusion Chiwetel Ejiofor as a warlord who hunts down Eddie Brock and his alien counterpart. The actor was already part of the UCM cast as Karl Mordo in films. Doctor Strange, so this new character is causing quite a bit of confusion. The second thing is that in the trailer you can see how a fragment of the symbiote is imprinted on the rod of the bar just when the person was about to touch it. This seems to be a direct link to the aforementioned post-credits scene. Spider-Man: No Way Home.

We’ll have to wait a little longer to see how Sony and Marvel Studios’ storylines come together (or not). Venom: The Last Dance has an address Kelly Marcel, who was the screenwriter of the two previous films in the saga. Besides Ejiofor, Temple of Juno another new face to the cast.
While the English trailer says the film will be released in October, no exact date has been given. The situation is different with the Spanish version, which Sony Pictures España published on YouTube. At the end of the video it only says “coming soon,” but the title indicates that the feature film will be released in theaters. the 25th of October.
