Decisive announced the production of the thriller some time ago Apartment 7Adetails of which were not revealed, but thanks to Bloody Disgusting it has been reported that the film will be a prequel to rosemary baby
According to the website, Apartment 7A’s story should focus on the woman who died outside the apartment where Rosemary took up residence, a special present in a scene from the film. The project was produced by Platinum Dunes (Judgement Night, Don’t Open That Door, Friday the 13th) and A Quiet Place director and artist, John Krasinski.
The cast of Apartment 7A is credited with interpreters Julia Garner, Dianne Wiest and Kevin McNally, directed by Natalie Erika James.
Recall that the original movie was made by Roman Polanski in 1968, starring Mia Farrow in the role of the character who found herself carrying the incarnation of the devil in her womb. The feature film is based on the novel by Ira Levin, written in 1967.
After the success of the first feature film, a sequel was made in 1976, entitled Look What’s Happened to Rosemary’s Baby. It was a television production, which was followed in 2014 by another adaptation into a TV miniseries.
