Telegram launches new paid content format that uses digital currency

Telegram messenger now allows paid content to be published on the platform. The measure was added to the app in a major update that started rolling out to users this week.

With the new feature, creators will be able to post photos or videos that will only be published after payment is made. The channel subscriber will only be able to access the post after making a purchase.
