John Timmerman spoke to SYFY Wire and revealed some details about Halloween Ends, the feature film that will conclude Blumhouse’s trilogy. According to Carpenter himself, Halloween ends it will be a “different” movie from the others.

This is what he said:

It’s a Halloween movie and it’s going to be a final story. You will see something different from everyone else. I can say it will be very interesting. Dave is a very good director, I really enjoy working with him.

And the director David Gordon Green, speaking of the film, said:

It has a different tone from the first film in the trilogy, and also compared to Halloween Kills. This is one of my hallmarks: I like to enter a genre and explore different themes and characters. And as a fan, I tried to give each of the feature films in the trilogy a different approach. I am pleased to show you what we have prepared, we are still working on it.

Halloween Ends with Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Kyle Richards, Michael O’Leary, Omar Dorsey and James Jude Courtney as Michael Myers. The feature will hit theaters on October 14.
