According to the company’s materials published on Kontur.Purchases, Ozon will soon rebrand 1,000 devices in cities with a population of more than one million. The bank’s advertising will cover 278 parcel terminals in Moscow, 225 in St. Petersburg, 125 in Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk, 100 in Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod, and 47 in Krasnoyarsk.
“The market and other services use the marketing capabilities of their own channels. We are talking about both online and offline media, such as advertising on some parcel terminals on the market,” Ozon said.
So far, Ozon has no idea what the rebranding will look like. The company has organized a competition for artists to come up with a new design; the main and central element of the whole design should be the MIR card of the Ozone Bank.
In total, there are 6,134 operating parcel terminals in the Ozon network. Most of the devices are located in the Moscow region – 1,049, Moscow is in second place – 753 devices, in St. Petersburg – 282 devices. Ozon also has 174 parcel terminals in Yekaterinburg, 208 in Novosibirsk, 139 in Nizhny Novgorod, 215 in Kazan and 47 in Krasnoyarsk. The market is one of the leaders in Russia in terms of the number of parcel terminals in the network.
In July, the Expert RA agency assigned Ozon Bank a credit rating of “ruBBB” level, the rating outlook is developing.
In addition, the rating agency’s analysts reported on the bank’s plans to begin actively expanding its lending operations. Now the bank “places the accumulated liquidity mainly on the interbank market.”
However, according to the financial plan studied by Expert RA, the bank wants to create an infrastructure in 2024 to start active lending and then “plans to significantly increase the volume of loans.”
