Ali Suliman, Anna Unterberger and Motaz Malhees are the protagonists of 200 meters, the new drama film by Palestinian filmmaker Ameen Nayfeh, which will hit Italian cinemas from 25 August thanks to I Wonder Pictures. Today we present the first official photos of the film.
This is the summary of the movie:
Mustafa and his wife Salwa live in Palestine, in two countries just two hundred meters apart, but separated by the Israeli separation wall. In the evening, when everything gets dark, Mustafa turns on a light on his balcony to wish his wife and children on the other side good night, who in turn respond with a signal. However, when one of his children is the victim of an accident, all the man has to do is rush to the checkpoint where he is denied entry, with no room for negotiation. Desperate, he asks a smuggler for help in crossing the wall: the two hundred meters are transformed into a two hundred kilometer odyssey, along with other travelers determined to overcome and defeat that barrier.
