As part of San Diego Comic-Con 2022, a panel led by Kevin Feige announced that Zombie Marvel this is an adult series. The news, of course, is a big surprise for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not only because it’s an animated film; also because we’re not used to seeing adult content on Disney+.

According to the manufacturer, this decision is due to the fact that Zombie Marvel will be faithful to the comic of the same name. I mean it will be very cruel and with a good dose of blood. In fact, Marvel wasn’t afraid to say the word. “Gore” during the Comic-Con panel. Again, this is unheard of in House of Ideas adaptations; Whether they are animated or live action.

We’ve already had some clues this week that Disney+ won’t close its doors to adult-classified content. On Thursday they announced that dead Pool, dead pool 2 D Logan, all produced at the time by Fox and intended for adults, will become part of the main Disney+ catalog. Be careful because at the moment this is only confirmed for the United States. In Spain and Latin America, they were already available through Star.

This sudden movement could be due, perhaps, to the fact that Disney doesn’t want to segment Marvel content that sooner or later they will have some kind of relationship in important productions. Going no further What if…? had any effect on Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness. Will it be the same with Zombie Marvel? Since the phenomenon of the multiverse is in full swing, we cannot rule anything out.

We must not forget that Disney + already has a system Parental control which works very well. This way, if small users access your account, you don’t have to worry about them seeing content that doesn’t belong to them. There will be time in the future for you to enjoy wonder zombie.

Apart from its classification, we also know that Zombie Marvel will show the “living dead” version ikaris, a member of the Eternals. Of course, other superheroes will add the most terrifying aspects to the animated production. It doesn’t have a release date yet, but don’t be surprised if it comes out this year.
