Drones can make great catches, but sometimes they don’t come out of the adventure “alive”. It was an example of Crocodile catching one of these in flight over the Javaés River in Tocantins.

The owner of the drone was 47-year-old Luciano Souza. He went fishing with his friends near Ilha do Bananal in the western region of Tocantins and used the equipment for the first (and last) time. According to an interview by the pilot gone: “When I went to film the river, I saw two crocodiles and I finally relented and he took my drone”.

Check out the video shared on social media below:

The drone was purchased two years ago, but it has never been out of the box before the trip. Luciano says he paid almost R$7 thousand on the equipment. When the crocodile “made the snack drone”, the pilot was trying to get close to the swarm of reptiles floating around to capture more detail. “Zero. All that’s left is the controller, the loader and the spare propellers.”

The images stopped in the mouth of the crocodile that crushed the small boat. One of Luciano’s friends even tried to track the animal but was unable to retrieve the device.
