About two years ago I had this form of vasculitis that wiped out my sight, hearing and balance. It took me about a year to get back on track. You can only really appreciate certain things when you are confronted with a situation where you may no longer see, hear and walk. I’m lucky I’m still alive.
After the video was circulated on the web, Ashton Kutcher himself wrote a post on Twitter stating:
Before several rumors come out, I can say that three years ago I had a rare form of vasculitis that caused me to have vision, hearing and balance disorders. I was hospitalized and everything was fine. See you at this year’s New York Marathon.
