Over there Sony has decided to push the release dates of two Spiderverse movies: we’re talking Madame Web And Kraven the hunter. The first feature film was set to release on October 6, 2023 and will hit theaters on February 16, 2024 instead. Although, as far as Kraven the Hunter is concerned, instead of January 13, 2023, the film will hit theaters on October 6, 2023.

The releases of Madame Web and Kraven the Hunter are being coordinated with the inclusion of a new Karate Kid movie on Sony’s release calendar.

As for Kraven the Hunter, the film will be directed by JC Chandor, while production will be handled by Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach. Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and Richard Wenk are working on the script. The cast of the feature film includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass) who will star, while Fred Hechinger (The White Lotus) will be the Chameleon, Russell Crowe the father of the two and Alessandro Nivola will also be there.

Madame Web will be directed by SJ Clarkson, who has previously worked on TV series such as Bates Motel and Jessica Jones, and the screenplay will be composed by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. In fact, according to some reports, the feature film will be slightly wider than a film devoted solely to Madame Web, also given the sparse material of the stories produced about the character so far.
