Hocus pocus 2 achieved great results after its release on Disney +as the streaming platform has announced that it is the most watched movie ever to debut in the United States in its first three days.
The numbers obtained by Hocus Pocus 2 have not been disclosed, but Disney+ wanted to underline this result by noting how the return to the screens of the Sanderson sisters via the streaming platform ensured a great performance. The result was calculated based on the viewing hours of the film.
In Hocus Pocus 2, it’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters seeking revenge. Now it’s up to three high school students to stop the voracious witches from wreaking havoc on Salem before dawn on All Saints’ Day. Hocus Pocus 2 also stars Sam Richardson (The War of Tomorrow), Doug Jones (The Shape of Water – The Shape of Water), Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl), Belissa Escobedo (American Horror Stories), Lilia Buckingham (Dirt) , Froy Gutierrez (Teen Wolf), with Tony Hale (Veep – Incompetent Vice President) and Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso). The film is directed by Anne Fletcher (I Want a Life Shaped Like Me, Blackmail of Love) and produced by Lynn Harris (A Winning Family – King Richard, Paradise Beach – Inside the Nightmare), starring Ralph Winter (Hocus Pocus , the X-Men franchise), David Kirschner (Hocus Pocus, The Killer Doll), and Adam Shankman (Disenchanted, Hairspray – Fat Is Beautiful) as executive producers.
