Based on the French graphic novel by Bong Joon Ho La Transperceneige, Snowbreaker. The story begins in the not too distant future. humanity is making one last attempt to stop the spread of global warming once and for all.

Logically, the plan fails, how could it be otherwise, and the world plunges into a new ice age, causing the extinction of all life forms. Before all this happens, Wilford Build a fast luxury train that can travel the world without stopping or being affected by the weather outside.

This is where the madness begins, as on the train the rich live comfortably in the front cars, while the poor and downtrodden masses get stuck in the back.

This film will offer us breathtaking images, ranging from the desert landscape outside to a life-sized aquarium. A film with high dramaturgy, in which some phrases can leave you indifferent (as never better said): “I know what people taste like, and I know that children taste better.”

Although it was filmed in 2013, in 2020 its director, who, as we remember, also directed Parasite, announced a new Netflix original series based on this film. Link to the movie is here.
