Naomi Ackie plays famed singer and actress Whitney Houston in the biopic Whitney: A rumor became a legend (original title: I want to dance with someone), arrives in the halls of the Peninsula on December 22: here is the new Italian trailer.
The cast of the film, directed by Kasi Lemmons and made official by the artist’s heirs (who have authorized the use of his original songs) also includes Stanley Tucci, Ashton Sanders, Tamara Tunie, Nafessa Williams and Clarke Peters: the scenario is the work of Anthony McCarten, author of, among other things, the script of one of the most famous musical biopics of recent years, Bohemian Rhapsody.
