Russian electric car can take “atom” hybrid and hydrogen versions. Philip Dyakov, President of the Kama Test Unit, shared that developers saw these options as a promising direction. The question is still in the stage of discussion, but planning to introduce new technologies becomes more and more relevant to the ground for interest in alternative energy sources.
The electric car is already equipped with a powerful 150 kW engine (slightly more than 200 L) that allows you to accelerate 100 km/h in 8 seconds. The battery is sufficient for a 500 km study, which makes the atom competitive in the electric vehicle market. Among the basic features of the model, you can distinguish the swing doors without central shelves, without a display placed on the steering wheel and without a smart audio assistant for the comfort of the driver.
Recently, the company’s experts have completed the first stage of the collision tests in which they controlled pre -production samples and organs. This is one of the planned three stages of the test, which is then planned to start mass production in the third quarter of this year.
