We didn’t have to wait long for another review. Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan’s next film. After the first trailer at the beginning of the month, we now have another sneak peek. And we’re confirming what we already knew: this will be another director’s madness at the hands of one of his fetish actors, Cillian Murphy.
In the role of theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer based on book American Prometheus: triumph and tragedy, Nolan will have to tell the story of the creator of the atomic bomb. As part of the Manhattan Project, of course. All with the classic tone of suspense and thriller that characterizes the director.
Shot in IMAX, the director has spared no expense to bring another one of his more than certain successes to cinema. We might already know that for one of the movie’s fight scenes Oppenheimer, Nolan recreated a nuclear explosion without the use of CGI. Without going to the level of an atomic bomb, this means that they have recreated something that could be just as dangerous for the team.
