Mark Hamill He says he doesn’t like that AI and another actor are giving life to a younger version Luke Skywalker. This is the latest of dozens of somewhat controversial statements made by the actor over the years.
After the death of a character in the last jediMark Hamill pulled out of the franchise after major disagreements with the creative direction the saga had taken. The actor, apparently, hates him.
As technology advances, the chances of us seeing older actors playing as young people increase. In fact, Bruce Willis has already sold the digital rights to his face for use in future productions. But Mark Hamill doesn’t seem to be thrilled with the idea.
“It’s not normal to see you like this. People tell me, “Now you can play a whole series of Luke after Episode VII: Return of the Jedi‘. But I say, “I don’t think so. First, because they don’t have to tell all those stories. But if they’re going to do it, they should find another actor of the right age for the project.”
While many would like it to always be Mark Hamill, it’s true that there are much younger actors who could very well take on the role. One of them is without a doubt Sebastian Stan.
