Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment officially announced Star Wars Jedi: Survivorcontinuation Jedi: Fallen Order which brought the franchise’s games back into view. The first cinematic teaser debuted at Star Wars Celebration 2022 and shows Cal Kestis facing various dangers, including the Grand Inquisitor.
Continuation Directed by Stig Asmussen.responsible for Jedi: Fallen Order, and takes place five years after the events of the original game. The teaser doesn’t offer much plot information other than that Cal Kestis continues to flee the Empire as the Grand Inquisitor questions his intentions.
There are a few important details to highlight in the teaser Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. First, Cal Kestis’ lightsaber is in the possession of the Grand Inquisitor, likely after he lost it in combat. One scene shows a mysterious figure floating inside a container, likely a Jedi survivor of the purge of the Empire.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will see the return of the beloved BD-1, who accompanies Kestis on his dangerous mission. No confirmation for other characters from Jedi: Fallen Order. If we remember, Cal Kestis saves his life from a confrontation with Darth Vader and is reunited with his allies, Grizz, Cere and Merrin.
The first game ends with a cutscene in which Kestis receives a list of children who can become Jedi from the holocron. Confident that the Force must decide his fate, the protagonist destroys the artifact so that it does not fall into the hands of the Empire.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Coming in 2023 to PS5, Xbox Series and PC
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be developed by Respawn Entertainment under the same team as Fallen Jedi Order. Game director Stig Asmussen mentioned that the idea for a sequel was already in place before the first game was completed.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be available in 2023 and will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. There are no details about a possible release on PS4 and Xbox One.. It looks like EA and Respawn want to focus on new hardware and are sure the console shortage won’t be a problem next year.
