Squanch Games’ development team described ‘High on Knife’ as an important additional episode that takes place after the events of the game’s main campaign.

The plot revolves around the protagonist arriving home and discovering a lost package meant for the player’s knife friend ‘Knifey’. The player’s task is to travel to the home planet to personally collect this mysterious package.

‘High On Life’ head writer Alec Robbins said one of the challenges was leaving comedy behind. “When we talk about ‘High On Life’ we usually think of humor, but like many absurdist comedies, Terrorism has deep roots” he expressed.

The developer explained that the main goal of this expansion was to focus a little more on horror because this video game, despite having footageMany people saw this in a funny way, in reality it had a darker background.

The expansion is now available on PC and Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

Additionally, the base game is available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers, and there is a special Xbox Game Pass bundle that includes both ‘High On Life’ and ‘High On Knife’.
